A little about me

Hi, I’m Jack — a creative and strategic communications professional in the San Francisco Bay Area, with a passion for marketing, event coordination, and community engagement. With seven years of experience in nonprofit marketing & communication and a strong background in crafting compelling content, I specialize in building meaningful connections between organizations and their audiences.

More about me

I work as a Communications Project Coordinator at Stanford Health Care, where I develop strategic messaging, design engaging materials, and manage logistics for outreach initiatives and events that promote sustainable transportation and reduce single-occupancy vehicle use and greenhouse gas emissions.

Before joining Stanford Health Care, I held communications and outreach roles at the Oshman Family JCC and Mad Science of the Bay Area. These experiences strengthened my skills in event planning, membership engagement, and brand visibility; helping me learn how to connect diverse communities through creative, impactful storytelling.

I hold a Master of Arts in Strategic Communication from Washington State University, where I honed my expertise in branding, storytelling, and digital engagement. Whether designing eye-catching visuals, managing social media, or executing integrated marketing campaigns, I’m passionate about blending creativity with strategy to drive meaningful impact.

Outside of work, I’m active in the arts. I produce and design for short films and theatre productions (Cofounding Space Squid Films) and I’ve led larger-scale community art projects such as Carlorful and Green Fremont.

Based in the San Francisco Bay Area, I’m always eager to collaborate on projects that inspire, inform, and connect communities. Let’s create something great together!
